Testing Method

The resistance of defective needle tips is detected as a specifical 'clapping noise' while the tip pierces our special testing foil. Perfect tips are approximately noiseless whereas tip deformities greater than 10 µm cause a significant 'clapping noise'.

Testing Equipment - Mechanics: testing head with sensor and stroke unit foil transferring units single and multifold stations - Electronics: PLC process control signal processing evaluation according to the desirable threshold - Testing Rate: cycle time 1 sec.

This station is insertable to any cannula, ready-to-fill and pre-filled syringe assembly and filling line at any stage of the assembly process.
Best position is the last station before the needle protector is set.
